Truman Families-
Earlier today, there was a vehicular accident involving one of the buses transporting students to Truman Elementary School. Six students were on the bus at the time of the accident. Students were checked out at the scene by EMTs, and again once they got to the building by the school nurse. Fortunately, however, no student was seriously injured. Parents and family members of the students involved were notified.
We are extremely grateful to our first responders and all school district personnel involved in this response today. Please be assured that the safety and well-being of our students is always the highest priority within the Lackawanna City School District.
