Students and staff across the Lackawanna City School District are showing their commitment to living drug-free lives by celebrating Red Ribbon Week, the nation’s largest and longest-running drug prevention campaign.
Throughout the week, each school in the district will participate in themed spirit days designed to encourage positive choices, healthy habits and community pride. From dressing up in red to promoting kindness, teamwork and self-respect, these activities bring important conversations to life in fun and meaningful ways.
Red Ribbon Week serves as a reminder that every student has the power to make smart, healthy decisions, inspiring students to take care of themselves and support one another in building a brighter future.
Each Lackawanna school has created its own lineup of themed days to celebrate the week. Check out the flyers below to see how each school is participating:
Thank you to all students, teachers and families for joining in the celebration and reinforcing this important message across our district. Together, we’re building a community where healthy choices lead to lifelong success.
