Students in Ms. Harrington and Mrs. Spadone’s class are celebrating the fall season with hands-on lessons that blend creativity, curiosity and learning!
To start, students combined reading and math in a delicious way by comparing red and green apples. Using their five senses, they tasted each apple and voted on their favorite. Afterwards, they reviewed the class graph to compare results and see which apple came out on top!
In another seasonal activity, students practiced their writing skills by completing a “Guess Who” craft. Each student answered fun questions about themselves and created clues for classmates to use while guessing whose photo was hidden beneath a ghost.
These engaging activities not only brought the excitement of fall into the classroom but also helped students strengthen key academic skills while having fun with their friends.
