Communication

With the first quarter coming to a close, classroom routines and expectations have been set in order to engage the children in more challenging learning opportunities and grade level content for the second quarter.  During the second quarter your child will become more actively involved in his/her learning progress with the use of goal setting and a personalized student data binder.  For more information about this process, please feel free to reach out to your child’s classroom teacher.

Health and Wellness

Over the course of the last few weeks, many students have been sent home from Nurse Lynn’s office due to coughing, headache, fever, vomiting and stomach aches. Parents, if your child is not feeling well, please err on the side of caution.  We want to keep everyone as healthy as possible.  If your child will be absent due to illness please know you can either notify your child’s teacher and/or the Truman Main Office.  A written note from you and/or a medical doctor can be turned in with your child upon their return.
